To be successful and professional business people, we need to be much more than just bid callers. We should be considered as marketing experts and more important we should be seen as problem solvers.

By attending the South African College of Auctioneering, you will be equipped with the necessary skills required to be successful in the auctioneering business.

 

The South African College of Auctioneering is the only college of its kind in South Africa and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association of America as well as The SA Institute of Auctioneers.

The instructors have the experience as well as the qualifications as was proved at the SAIA AGM which was held at Sun City in March 2011 where Col. Hedley Harris was inducted into the Hall of Fame for ‘Education in the Auctioneering Industry’.

Dear Col. Hedley Harris, My name is Leon Thanasaras, and I was a student of the July 2014 course in Durban. I just want to share the following with you, and also want to thank you for your teachings. I was retrenched in July 2014 after working for 9 1/2 years for an Auction company in Richards Bay, that’s when I decided to go into the Auction business myself. We started with small auctions in August, Sept, Oct. In November we sold a Farm for R 3.8 million and the assets for R 630 000.00. In Jan 2015 we auctioned a guest house in Vryheid for R 880 000.00. Firstly very many thanks for an excellent course. I found it not only professionally put together, with very clear documentation and slides, but also of enormous interest. Your drive and motivation, even when I got the basic numbers wrong (back to school!) were very encouraging.
